Rumors suggest that Xiaomi plans to release several new devices before the end of this month. One of the devices likely to be introduced is the Redmi Turbo 5 Pro which reportedly features a 9,000 mAh battery.
But Xiaomi doesn’t seem to be done yet when it comes to increasing battery capacity. According to reports, Xiaomi will release a new phone next year featuring a 10,000 mAh battery. This device is expected to offer 100W wired charging and extremely fast wireless charging.
Despite having such a massive 10,000 mAh battery this phone is expected to be less than 8.5mm thick which is impressive on its own. Meanwhile, Honor is preparing a device in the Win series that will also have a 10,000 mAh battery and support 100W wired charging. With these advancements, the dream of using a smartphone for multiple days without worrying about charging no matter how heavily it is used, is gradually becoming a reality.
When it comes to Xiaomi’s upcoming device there is still a lot of uncertainty about how the company will position it. At this stage, we don’t yet know whether it will be released as a Xiaomi-branded phone or if it will belong to one of Xiaomi’s sub-brands such as Redmi or Poco. Naturally, we will continue monitoring all leaks and announcements and we will share any confirmed details as soon as they become available keeping readers up to date on the latest developments.
