Xiaomi takes first place in the Chinese market from Apple: share reaches 22.08%

The latest market data shows that in the 39th week of 2025 (September 22 to September 28),
Xiaomi jumped to the top of the Chinese smartphone market with a market share of 22.08% thanks to the strong first sales performance of the Xiaomi 17 series, briefly surpassing Apple to become the sales champion of the week.

Although the Xiaomi 17 series was only on sale for two days on September 27 and 28, its market explosiveness was amazing, quickly driving Xiaomi’s overall sales to rise.

Although Apple’s iPhone 17 series continues to sell well, it still ranks second with a market share of 20.22%.

It is worth noting that this is the first time that Apple has been at the top of the list for only one week after topping the list the previous week before being overtaken by Xiaomi.

The following are the specific data of China’s mobile phone market share in the 39th week of 2025:

First place, Xiaomi, with a market share of 22.08%;

Second place, Apple, with a market share of 20.22%;

Third place, vivo (including its sub-brand iQOO), with a market share of 14.07%;

Fourth place, Huawei, with a market share of 13.79%;

Fifth place: OPPO (including its sub-brands OnePlus and realme), with a market share of 12.97%;

Sixth place, Honor, market share 11.21%;

Other brands, such as ZTE, Meizu, Nubia, Samsung, etc., have a cumulative market share of 5.66%.

It should be noted that in October, the Honor Magic 8 series, vivo X300 series and OPPO Find X9 series will be released one after another, and the ranking of the Chinese mobile phone market will change further.
