Xiaomi’s most powerful phone ever! Xiaomi 16 Ultra Max model first revealed

The current flagships of Xiaomi’s digital series are basically fixed. Taking the Xiaomi 15 series as an example, it includes Xiaomi 15, Xiaomi 15 Pro, and Xiaomi 15 Ultra.

These three product lines are considered the orthodox iterations of Xiaomi’s digital series.

The S series is a minor iteration with a new chip. For example, the Xiaomi 15S Pro has the same parameters as the Xiaomi 15 Pro in all aspects, but has replaced the Xuanjie O1 chip.

It should be noted that the latest news claims that the Xiaomi 16 series will add two new models: Xiaomi 16 Ultra Max and Xiaomi 16S Ultra.

At present, its model information has appeared in the GSMA IMEI database, as follows:

Xiaomi Mi 16 Ultra: 2512BPNDAC (Chinese version), 2512BPNDAI (Indian version), 2512BPNDG (International version)

Xiaomi Mi 16 Ultra Max/Xiaomi Mi 16S Ultra: 25128PNA1C (Chinese version), 25128PNA1G (International version)

The corresponding model positioning is still uncertain at present, but judging from the name, the new “Xiaomi 16 Ultra Max” will undoubtedly be Xiaomi’s most powerful mobile phone.

Judging from the Ultra’s positioning of focusing on extreme imaging, this new Ultra Max should go a step further in imaging and even break through the scope of mobile phones.

In March this year, Xiaomi announced a Xiaomi modular optical system. Based on the Xiaomi 15 Pro, it created a magnetic lens with a customized M4/3 sensor + all-aspherical lens group, bringing a full 100 million pixels, equivalent to a 35mm focal length, and equipped with a large aperture of f/1.4.

This product received rave reviews after its launch. Its significance is that it truly breaks through the limitations of mobile phones on sensors and lenses. It transmits directly through the optical port at a speed of up to 10Gbps and supports lossless RAW information transmission.

Xiaomi AISP is seamlessly called upon, and computational photography is driven by a large model on the end, bringing computing power that traditional cameras cannot achieve, unlocking UltraRAW super digital film, and bringing an exaggerated 16-stop dynamic range.

It is not ruled out that this system will be directly mass-produced on Xiaomi 16 Ultra Max. Compared with the current simple external lens of mobile phones, it is more hardcore and can truly make the mobile phone comparable to the quality of a camera.

As for Xiaomi 16S Ultra, it is easier to understand. It is speculated that it is a chip-changed version of Xiaomi 16 Ultra, equipped with Xuanjie O2 self-developed chip.
