5% price increase! iPhone 17 Pro starting price exceeds $1,000 for the first time
Apple’s iPhone 17 series of mobile phones, which will be released in September, may see a price increase. Affected by the US tariff policy, the three models of the iPhone 17 series, Pro, Pro Max and Air, are expected to increase in price by US$50, an increase of about 5%, and the starting price of the Pro model will exceed the US$1,000 mark for the first time .
Although smartphones have not yet been officially included in the scope of reciprocal tariffs, Apple has incurred additional costs by transferring part of its iPhone production from mainland China to India.
