The REDMI K Pad 2 is on its way: Dimensity 9500 processor + 9000mAh battery.
REDMI entered the flagship tablet market last June with the launch of the REDMI K Pad, with an initial price of 2799 yuan.
This tablet features an 8.8-inch golden-size body with a custom 3K LCD screen, powered by the Dimensity 9400+ flagship platform, and has a built-in 7500mAh lightweight and large battery, providing a fully optimized gaming experience.
Less than a year later, the REDMI K Pad 2 is about to be unveiled. According to a blogger, the REDMI K Pad 2 will be launched in the first half of this year.
Compared to its predecessor, the REDMI K Pad 2 features an upgraded Dimensity 9500 chip, a battery capacity exceeding 9000mAh, dual X-axis motors, and enhanced symmetrical dual speakers with co-branded tuning. This device will be launched at the same time as the REDMI K90 Ultra.
It is reported that the Dimensity 9500 is MediaTek’s most powerful mobile phone chip. It adopts an all-big-core CPU architecture, including one C1-Ultra super-big core with a maximum frequency of 4.21GHz, three C1-Premium super-big cores, and four C1-Pro big cores, and integrates the matrix operation instruction set SME2.
According to official information, the Dimensity 9500’s single-core performance is 32% higher than the previous generation, and its multi-core performance is 17% higher, easily exceeding 4 million points in AnTuTu benchmark tests.
In addition, the REDMI K Pad 2 is mainly aimed at gamers, and the device does not support SIM cards, and most likely does not support eSIM either.
