Vivo X Fold 3 Specs Leaked
The upcoming vivo X Fold 3 folding screen smartphone is set to feature several advanced specifications, as revealed by digital blogger @Digital Chat Station. The device will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and will include a triple-camera setup with a 50-megapixel main sensor. One of the notable features of the main camera is the use of a dual-layer transistor sensor.
The vivo X Fold 3 will boast a large 2K LTPO screen supporting a 120Hz refresh rate. For security, it will continue to use the same single-point ultrasonic under-screen fingerprint sensor as its predecessor, the X Fold 2. The device will also support a 100W wired fast charging system along with a 50W wireless charging capability.
In terms of its physical attributes, the vivo X Fold 3 is expected to maintain the thickness and weight typical of an imaging flagship, likely around 230 grams. Additionally, the standard version of the vivo X Fold 3 is anticipated to be priced lower than previous models.
For context, the vivo X Fold 2, released in April of the same year, was equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen2 chip. It featured an 8.03-inch main screen and a 6.53-inch secondary screen, both supporting 2K+120Hz refresh rates and ultrasonic fingerprint technology.
The X Fold 2 supported 120W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging, and had a 50-megapixel main camera, a 12-megapixel wide-angle camera, a 12-megapixel portrait camera, and a 16-megapixel front camera. It was priced starting at 8999 yuan or $1260.
