According to Fast Technology on June 12, the anxiety about battery life is ingrained in the daily lives of most modern people—every 1% drop in phone battery sends a shiver down their spine. A few hours spent on navigation, shooting footage, or checking work messages can easily see the battery dwindle to half.

As a result, shared power banks quickly spread due to strong demand, and charging stations of various brands can be seen everywhere, such as restaurant counters, convenience store cash registers, and subway turnstiles.

Many netizens joked that the more anxious ordinary people are about battery life, the hotter the shared power bank business becomes. Now, the price of shared power banks in popular business districts has risen to three or four yuan per half hour. Many people have also encountered the frustrating situation of being charged tens or hundreds of yuan for forgetting to return the power bank after borrowing it.

To fundamentally address the long-standing pain point of battery life, Honor is about to release the Honor X80 Pro Max, which will be the world’s first to feature an 11000mAh new-generation Qinghai Lake silicon-carbon anode battery.

This is currently the phone with the highest battery capacity among mass-produced models in the industry, allowing most users to completely say goodbye to the hassle of finding shared power banks. Under normal moderate use, it can even last for two days without needing to be charged.

According to leaked photos of the actual device, the Honor X80 Pro Max features a symmetrical circular rear camera module and a two-tone design with gold and orange accents on the back cover, making the device highly recognizable and stand out in terms of appearance among models in the same price range.

In terms of hardware configuration, the Honor X80 Pro Max is equipped with a 6.8-inch 1.5K OLED high refresh rate straight screen, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen5 processor, and supports full-level waterproofing and 90W wired fast charging. Its built-in reverse power supply function also allows it to be used as a high-capacity portable power bank to provide emergency power to other small devices such as mobile phones and headphones that are running low on battery.
