Xiaomi 17T Pro Released: China’s First Leica Dimensity Flagship Phone Starting at 3499 Yuan

Fast Technology reported that the Xiaomi 17T Pro was officially released this afternoon, and the official name for it is “Master of Telephoto”.

This is Xiaomi’s first Leica Dimensity flagship phone launched in China, combining the latest generation of Leica imaging with the Dimensity 9500.

First, let’s look at the appearance. The new phone comes in three colors: black, roland purple, and dark blue. It is 8.25mm thick and weighs 219g. It adopts a four-curved metal frame and a flat screen design.

The front features a 6.83-inch 1.5K large screen with an ultra-narrow four-sided equal bezel OLED and ultra-elliptical large R-corners. It is Xiaomi’s first to feature a 144Hz high refresh rate, a manual maximum brightness of 600 nits, a global peak brightness of 2000 nits, a 25% APL local peak brightness of 3500 nits, a minimum brightness of 1 nit, a 480Hz touch sampling rate, a 3500Hz instantaneous touch sampling rate, 12-bit color depth, and full brightness DC-like dimming.

In terms of performance, the Xiaomi 17T Pro is equipped with the Dimensity 9500 flagship chip, featuring a 1+3+4 all-large core architecture with a maximum clock speed of 4.21GHz. GPU performance is improved by 33%, power consumption is reduced by 42%, and ray tracing performance is boosted by 199%. Paired with LPDDR5X + UFS4.1, it delivers maximum performance.

It has a built-in 7000mAh Jinshajiang battery (silicon-carbon material), supports 100W wired + 50W wireless fast charging + 22.5W wired reverse charging, with a typical battery life of about 1.88 days and a 100% charge in 48 minutes.

The imaging hardware features a Leica Summilux lens. The main camera of the Xiaomi 17T Pro is equipped with a 50-megapixel OIS Light Hunter 950 large sensor, with a 1/1.31-inch size, f/1.67 aperture, OIS image stabilization, and a native 13.5EV ultra-high dynamic range.

It features a 50MP telephoto lens with 5x OIS and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, with a telephoto equivalent of 115mm. It supports 10x lossless zoom, 120x AI super-resolution zoom, and 30cm macro shooting.

The first release features the all-new Leica Live Moment, supporting both Leica Classic and Leica Vivid exclusive image quality, along with a new Leica Live Moment watermark for an immersive viewing experience.

The front camera is 32 megapixels and uses a 1/3.42-inch Samsung S5KKDS sensor.

In other aspects, the Xiaomi 17T Pro also supports Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, dual-frequency GPS and quad-frequency Beidou, stereo dual speakers, IP68 dust and water resistance, X-axis vibration motor, infrared remote control, etc.

The specific pricing is as follows:

The official price for the 12+256GB version is 4299 yuan, with an initial launch price of 3999 yuan, and a national subsidy price of 3499 yuan.

The official price for the 12+512GB version is 4799 yuan, the initial price is 4499 yuan, and the price after the national subsidy is 3999 yuan.

The official price for the 16+512GB version is 5099 yuan, with an initial launch price of 4799 yuan, and a national subsidy price of 4299 yuan.

In addition, since it is currently the college entrance examination season, Xiaomi has launched a special student subsidy, which offers an additional discount of 100 yuan.
