Vivo V40 series new phone released! 7.58mm ultra-thin body with 5500mAh large battery
vivo V40 and vivo V40 Pro were released overseas on August 7, 2024 and officially launched in the Indian market.
The vivo V40 and V40 Pro have the same size (164.2×74.9×7.58mm) and a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, a resolution of 2800×1260 pixels, and a peak brightness of up to 4500 nits.
The vivo V40 inherits the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen3 chip from the vivo v30.
The vivo V40 Pro is equipped with the Dimensity 9200+ chip, which has significantly improved performance over the Dimensity 8200 of the previous generation vivo V Pro phone.
The vivo V40 has two rear cameras, including a 50MP main camera and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera. The main camera supports OIS.
The photography function of vivo V40 Pro is even more powerful, with three rear cameras, including a 50MP main camera with a Sony IMX921 sensor, a 50MP telephoto portrait lens with a Sony IMX816 sensor, and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens.
The vivo V40 series all have a 50MP Zeiss front-facing selfie camera.

the vivo V40 series are all equipped with a 5500mAh large battery, which is the largest battery in the vivo V series to date, and supports 80W wired fast charging.

the starting price of vivo V40 is 39,999 Indian rupees, while the starting price of V40 Pro is 54,999 Indian rupees, which is approximately RMB 3,400 and RMB 4,700 respectively.
