Google officially pushed the Android 15 stable version to Pixel devices. Some devices have completed the upgrade first, and it is expected that the update will be pushed on a large scale later this week.

Older models that support upgrading to Android 15 include: Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro, Pixel 6a, Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro, Pixel 7a, Pixel 8, Pixel 8 Pro, Pixel 8a, Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro XL, Pixel Fold and Pixel Tablet. However, Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro Fold are not included in this update for the time being, and Google will push updates for these devices later.

In Android 15, Google introduced the “anti-theft lock” feature. Using AI technology, the device can sense whether it has been stolen or robbed, and automatically lock when necessary, further improving security.

In addition, Google has strengthened the authentication requirements for key operations, such as removing the SIM card or turning off “Find My Device”. If the user fails to verify multiple times, the device will be automatically locked to prevent unauthorized operations.

It is worth mentioning that Android 15 is deeply integrated with Google’s Gemini model. Based on AI technology, Pixel devices can intelligently detect fraudulent calls. Through the Gemini model, the device can monitor sensitive words in calls in real time and send reminders to users in time to ensure the safety of daily calls.
