Fast Technology reported that the topic “iPhone 20 Pro leaks” rose to second place on Weibo’s trending topics, attracting widespread attention and discussion among netizens.

According to the digital blogger “Digital Chat Station”, the internal codename for the iPhone 20 Pro series is V73/V74. Two new screen samples have already appeared in the supply chain. The physical size is larger than the current model, but the screen ratio remains basically unchanged.

Based on this, the blogger speculated that the iPhone 20 Pro series may adopt a brand-new bezel-less quad-curved design.

According to them, Apple’s solution is not a traditional four-curved screen, but more likely a combination of a 2D flat screen and a glass cover. By utilizing the optical refraction and shape design of glass, it creates a visually borderless experience. Combined with a liquid glass UI, Apple is going to play with glass to its fullest potential.

According to reports, the blogger revealed in July that Apple was prototyping an extra-large mobile phone screen with a physical size of approximately 6.96 inches, while the standard size would be close to 7 inches. This screen may be used in the iPhone 20 Pro Max.

When asked by netizens whether the new screen would still adopt a relatively elongated aspect ratio, the blogger responded that the new screen’s aspect ratio would be similar to the current 6.9-inch screen, and the overall grip experience would still be taken into account.

In addition, the iPhone 20 Pro series is also expected to feature a full-fledged under-display Face ID technology, further hiding the facial recognition components under the screen, thereby reducing the front opening and bezel space occupied, creating conditions for a more complete integrated display effect.

If the above leaks are confirmed, the focus of the iPhone 20 Pro series upgrades may no longer be simply pursuing narrower bezels, but rather further weakening the visual boundary between the screen and the body through the synergy of multiple technologies such as screen size, glass form, optical effects, and under-display Face ID. This may also become an important direction for the design of Apple’s next-generation iPhone.
