Battery capacity reaches 12070mAh! The Honor WIN2 series is a bit unsportsmanlike.

The Honor WIN2 series is scheduled to be released on October 21st, and the official statement is very straightforward – “the top-tier gaming phone of the year”.

Before the blogger “Experience More” revealed the specifications of the three new phones, many people thought that gaming phones would still follow the old script of “maximum frame rate, top-notch heat dissipation, and barely enough battery”. However, this time Honor put the battery capacity first.

The three machines are WIN2, WIN RT2, and WIN Turbo2. The most eye-catching number is the battery: WIN2 has a 10100mAh battery, supporting 100W wired and 50W wireless; RT2 goes straight for 12070mAh, raising the battery capacity of its class to a whole new level . In the past, gaming machines were compared on which one didn’t throttle and which one didn’t get hot to hold, but now even “whether you need to bring a power bank” has been recalculated.

All three units share the same screen: a 6.89-inch 2K 185Hz LTPS OLED flat screen with 0.93mm equal bezels on all four sides. Dual 1216 symmetrical dual speakers, 0809 X-axis motor, IP68/IP69/IP69K full protection, and ultrasonic fingerprint sensor are also basically present in the specifications, maintaining a relatively stable minimum standard for e-sports feel.

What truly sets the three machines apart is their performance. The WIN2 uses the sixth-generation Snapdragon 8 Super Edition, equipped with LPDDR5X Ultra and UFS4.1, with dual fans to control temperature, achieving an AnTuTu score of over 5.7 million.

The RT2 features a fifth-generation Snapdragon 8 Ultra processor and a single fan; the Turbo2 uses a fourth-generation Snapdragon 8s processor and omits the fan altogether. The camera capabilities are also differentiated: the WIN2 boasts a 200-megapixel, 1/1.4-inch large-sensor main camera with OIS and a metal frame.

The RT2 also features a 200MP main camera, but its sensor is only 1/1.56 inches; the Turbo2 will most likely have a 50MP OIS. Meanwhile, Honor’s choices regarding ports and storage also reveal some compromises. WIN2 includes a USB 3.2 Gen1 port, and storage has increased from 12+256GB to 16+1TB. The gaming button, symmetrical speakers, motor, and protective features were all included in all three models.

So this product line isn’t complicated: WIN2 is a full-fledged flagship gaming phone, RT2 balances large battery capacity and cost, and Turbo2 goes further down the line to “can be used for gaming and also as a daily phone with a large battery”.

What really matters on October 21st isn’t which phone has the best specs, but whether the market will accept Honor’s decision to break down its 10000mAh-class gaming-grade straight screen into three tiers.
