Fast Technology reported that a software leak originating from an early iOS 26 prototype unexpectedly revealed Apple’s future product roadmap, covering multiple product lines including iPhone, Mac, and wearable devices.

The foldable iPhone has appeared with the official codename “V68” for the first time, confirming that the project is progressing.

This leak originated from a prototype device running an early version of iOS (23A5234w), whose system code contained numerous unreleased device codenames.

The iPhone lineup is packed with highlights, including the foldable iPhone (V68), the affordable “iPhone 17e” (V159), the high-end flagship “iPhone 18 Pro/Pro Max” (V63/V64), and the “iPhone Air 2” (V62), which was previously planned but delayed.

Regarding accessories and home ecosystem, the specifications of AirTag 2 (codename B589) have also been revealed. It will be equipped with a second-generation ultra-wideband (UWB) chip, which will improve the accuracy of positioning distance. The built-in speaker is more difficult to remove to enhance anti-tracking privacy protection. Previous reports indicated that it may be released in mid-2025.

The Mac and iPad product lines have also seen clear upgrades. The low-priced MacBook will be equipped with the A18 Pro chip, and the entire Mac series will adopt the M5/M6 chip, covering the MacBook Air/Pro, Mac Studio/mini; the iPad lineup includes the iPad 12 (J581/J582) and the 11/13-inch M4 iPad Air (J707, etc.).

Industry experts predict that the AirTag 2 and HomePod mini 2 may debut in early 2026, while the foldable iPhone and M6 Mac may be launched in the second half of the year. Specific dates have not yet been found in the code.
