Galaxy A37 Set to Deliver a Major Performance Upgrade

Samsung appear to be preparing several new additions to its Galaxy A series lineup. One of these upcoming devices is the Galaxy A37, which recently made an appearance on Samsung’s official server suggesting that internal testing and development are well underway. Recently, new details have emerged that provide a clear idea of how the device may perform in real world scenarios.

A recent Geekbench appearance of Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy A37 spotted by Mohammed Khatri has offered a closer look at the smartphone’s hardware configuration. The listing confirmed that the device is equipped with the Exynos 1480 processor. This mark a significant departure from last year’s Galaxy A36, which featured Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3. The move suggest that Samsung may be shifting its performance strategy for the A series, possibly aiming for tighter hardware integration and improved optimization through its own chipset.

The Galaxy A37 achieved a score of 1,158 in single core test and 3,401 in the multi core test. In comparison, the Galaxy A36 typically scores round about 1,000 points in the single core and roughly 2,900 points in the multi core benchmark. This performance gap suggest that the upcoming A37 may deliver 15% higher processing power representing a meaningful generational improvement for users seeking better speed and efficiency.

It is worth highlighting that Samsung typically use the Exynos 1480 chipset for its top tier devices such as the Galaxy A55. The Galaxy A37 that appeared on the benchmarking platform had 6GB RAM. Unfortunately, beyond these early clues, information about the Galaxy A37 is still limited and further details have yet to appear.
