Global Honor Magic7 Pro Begins Receiving MagicOS 10 Update Based on Android 16

After much anticipation, the Honor Magic7 Pro’s global edition is finally being upgraded to MagicOS 10, Honor’s own interface layered over Android 16. Although this update arrives roughly eight months after Google first rolled out Android 16, it’s still a welcome addition for users who have been waiting to experience the latest features and improvements. The smartphone is available in two configurations: one with 512GB of storage and 12GB of RAM originally priced at $990 but currently discounted to $858.42 and a higher end version offering 1TB of storage and 16GB of RAM for $1,130.

MagicOS 10.0.0.121 is rolling out as an over the air update requiring a download of 3.27GB. Given its large size it is strongly recommended to use a fast and reliable Wi-Fi connection to prevent delays or failed downloads. You should also verify that your device has enough free space to accommodate the download extract its content and complete the installation. Ensuring these condition beforehand help the update run without errors and complete more efficiently.

The rollout of MagicOS for the global Magic7 Pro is likely happening in stages as is usually the case with major updates. If your device hasn’t prompted you to download it yet don’t worry; the update is on its way and might take a few more days to reach all devices worldwide. Factors such as network availability and server load can also affect when individual devices see the update so a short wait is completely normal.
