Honor is piloting a new battery with a capacity exceeding 10,000mAh, replacing power banks.
Fast Technology reported that blogger Digital Chat Station posted an article stating that Honor has trial-produced a single-cell ultra-large battery with a rated capacity of 10000mAh and a typical capacity between 11000-12000mAh.
It is understood that Honor will be the first manufacturer to mass-produce phones with batteries exceeding 10,000 kilovolts, and more than one phone will be equipped with such a large battery.
According to the plan, Honor’s first 10000mAh phone will be named Honor Power 2. The new product will be launched before the Spring Festival. The phone focuses on long battery life. With the industry’s first 10000mAh super large battery, the Honor Power 2’s battery life will break the industry record.
In April of this year, Honor Power was officially released. This phone is the first to use an 8000mAh Qinghai Lake battery with a silicon content exceeding 10% and an energy density of 821Wh/L. In actual tests, it can continuously watch short videos for 23 hours, completely solving users’ battery life anxiety.
This battery not only has a large capacity but is also resistant to both cold and high temperatures. Official tests show that Honor Power supports users to make calls for 31 hours in extremely cold environments of -30℃ and for more than 27.5 hours in extremely hot environments of 55℃.
Looking ahead to next year, Honor will bring several new phones with batteries exceeding 10,000 mAh, which will completely eliminate the need for power banks, so you’ll never have to worry about running out of power again when you go out.
