The Honor GT Pro is expected to be released in April. Compared with the GT, the configuration of the phone has been greatly upgraded. It is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition, a 1.5K flagship straight screen, and supports 80W fast charging. The price will be extremely competitive.

According to 3C certification information, Honor’s latest model has been certified. Combined with previous product planning, this new model should be the previously exposed Honor GT Pro. Honor GT Pro has been significantly upgraded in terms of performance, screen, battery life, etc., and its configuration is on par with contemporary high-end flagships.

In terms of specific configuration, the Honor GT Pro will be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition processor, a flagship straight screen with a 1.5K resolution, and support for high refresh rate.

In terms of battery life, the battery capacity of Honor GT Pro is expected to increase significantly, possibly between 5500mAh and 6000mAh. There are even reports that the battery capacity may be between 6100mAh and 6300mAh, and it supports 80W wired fast charging. Although the wireless charging function may not be included, such a configuration is enough to meet the daily usage needs of most users.

In addition, Honor GT Pro may also add flagship specifications such as satellite communications, further enhancing its competitiveness.

In terms of price, according to the positioning of the GT series, the price of Honor GT Pro will be very competitive. Zhao Ming, former CEO of Honor, once said that the new GT is of great significance to Honor and will build the Honor GT series at any cost.

Honor hopes that the GT series can inherit the original positioning of Huawei Honor and recreate the glory of the online first. Therefore, the pricing strategy of Honor GT Pro may continue the “extreme cost performance”, and the starting price may be in the range of 2499~2699 yuan, which is slightly higher than the previous generation but still competitive.

In addition, Honor GT performs well among similar models, with a launch price of only RMB 2,199, which is RMB 300 lower than the benchmark K80. Now the price after the national subsidy is only RMB 1,741. As an upgraded version of the GT series, Honor GT Pro will undoubtedly bring greater surprises in terms of performance, configuration and price.
