Honor Magic8 Pro real machine released: the only Snapdragon flagship that supports 3D face recognition
Blogger Digital Chat Station posted a real photo of Honor Magic8 Pro.
The front of the phone is an iso-depth slightly curved screen, the top is a capsule screen similar to the iPhone 17, it supports 3D face recognition, the middle frame is a metal right-angle edge design, and the back is a centered circular lens, which includes the main camera, ultra-wide-angle and periscope telephoto.
The system interface shows that the Honor Magic8 Pro is equipped with the new MagicOS 10 operating system, Qualcomm’s fifth-generation Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition platform, 16GB of memory, and a built-in Honor self-developed RF enhancement chip, model BKQ-AN90.
Compared with its competitors, Honor Magic8 Pro is the only fifth-generation Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition flagship that supports 3D face recognition during the same period. The phone is also expected to support screen fingerprint recognition.
In addition, the Honor Magic8 series has edge-side multimodal perception capabilities. Honor and Qualcomm have jointly developed a high-performance edge-side AI model solution, which increases the model inference speed by 15% and reduces the model inference power consumption by 20%. While protecting user privacy, it achieves faster and more personalized responses on the device side.
The phone will be unveiled in October.
