Huawei Mate 70 Air makes its first real-life appearance: 6.9-inch widescreen display.
Fast Technology reported that the real Huawei Mate70 Air was exposed by a blogger on Xiaohongshu. It still maintains the family design, adopts a wide aspect ratio screen, is equipped with a quad-curved screen with equal depth, and has a separate front camera hole.
The screen features a large rounded corner design, making the four corners of the screen more rounded. Combined with the curved screen, the whole device looks very rounded and transitions naturally with the middle frame.
However, this widescreen ratio is not very friendly to users with small hands. In the past, many users said that they could not hold it properly. Now, with the ultra-thin body, this situation may be improved.
According to previous leaks, the Huawei Mate 70 Air has a screen size of around 6.9 inches with a 1.5K resolution, a body thickness of 6.x mm, and is equipped with a red maple lens.
To make the device thinner and lighter, the new phone will be equipped with an ultra-thin Type-C port, and the design may be similar to Huawei’s foldable screen.

In addition, the Mate 70 Air’s gold and silver color scheme is the same as the Huawei Mate 70 Pro+’s gold and silver color scheme, but the rear camera no longer features a gold ring design, and the telephoto lens supports 30x zoom.
According to the telecom terminal product database, the Huawei Mate 70 Air comes in three colors: Obsidian Black, Feather White, and Gold and Silver Brocade.

In terms of core configuration, the Huawei Mate 70 Air is expected to be equipped with the Kirin 9020, offering up to 16GB of RAM, and will come pre-installed with HarmonyOS 5.1 operating system, with support for upgrading to the latest HarmonyOS 6.
It is worth noting that there are also reports that the Huawei Mate 70 Air may retain both the SIM card slot and support eSIM technology. The specific details are subject to official announcement.
