Huawei Mate 80 Pro packaging revealed: Kirin 9030 and Kirin 9030 Pro dual chips.

The Huawei Mate 80 series is scheduled to launch on November 25, with four new models: Mate 80, Pro, Pro Max, and RS.

Blogger “Yiyi Plays Digital” revealed the packaging box of the Mate 80 Pro, which shows that the phone comes in two chip versions, one equipped with Kirin 9030 and the other with Kirin 9030 Pro.

Based on the corresponding memory versions, it is speculated that 12+256GB and 12+512GB are Kirin 9030, while 16+512GB and 16GB+1TB are Kirin 9030 Pro.

It is reported that the Huawei Mate 70 series released last year was equipped with the Kirin 9020 chip, whose CPU consists of 1 x 2.5GHz large core + 3 x 2.15GHz medium core + 4 x 1.6GHz small core, and integrates a Maleoon 920 840MHz GPU.

According to leaks, the Kirin 9030 series will retain the same manufacturing process, but its core architecture will be further upgraded, resulting in a significant performance improvement.

It’s worth noting that the Kirin 9020 chip was first publicly introduced at the Huawei Mate XTs Extraordinary Master launch event in September. It is expected that the Kirin 9030 series will also be unveiled at this launch event, and some detailed specifications may even be introduced. Since the US sanctions against Huawei, the supply of Kirin chips has been cut off. Since then, Huawei has never disclosed the specific model of the processor at its press conferences, and even the 5G signal was once no longer displayed.
