Huawei Mate 80 series will be released in November: a total of four models will be launched with Kirin 9030
The iPhone 17 series has been released. As the only high-end player in China that can compete with Apple, many people are looking forward to the debut of the Huawei Mate 80 series.
According to the latest disclosure from blogger Digital Chat Station, the Huawei Mate 80 series will be released a little later, and is currently scheduled for November.
A total of four models have been confirmed, namely Mate 80, Mate 80 Pro, Mate 80 Pro+ and Mate 80 RS.

Among them, the Mate 80 Pro has a 2.5D straight screen and is expected to adopt a 3D face recognition solution. The Mate 80 Pro+ and Mate 80 RS have two versions: 2.5D straight screen/4D equal depth.
In terms of imaging, the Mate 80 is equipped with a 50Mp 1/1.5″ large-bottom main camera, the Mate 80 Pro is equipped with a 50Mp 1/1.3″ 580 ultra-large bottom camera, and the Mate 80 Pro+ and Mate 80 RS are equipped with a 50Mp 1/1.3″ 590 ultra-large bottom camera.
The built-in battery is as large as 6000mAh, and the chip has a breakthrough. It is expected to be the first to launch the Kirin 9030. Previously, the Kirin 9020 chip was first installed in the previous generation Mate 70 series.

It is worth noting that as the highest-end domestic straight-screen flagship, Huawei Mate 80 RS will be equipped with a dual-layer OLED screen of about 6.9 inches.
On the basis of a single-layer OLED light-emitting unit, another layer of OLED light-emitting unit is superimposed. Compared with traditional OLED technology, double-layer OLED has the advantages of higher brightness, lower power consumption, and longer screen life.
Overall, except for its high cost, double-layer OLED has huge advantages over ordinary OLED in other aspects, and Apple is also considering equipping the iPhone with it.
In addition to the screen, the leak also said that the Huawei Mate 80 RS engineering machine tested a titanium alloy middle frame and a ceramic back cover, and “the factory proofing plan is very respectable.”
However, the “ceramic texture back cover” means that the Huawei Mate 80 RS will not be equipped with a real ceramic back cover, but a special glass that can present a jade-like feel and texture, but is lighter in weight, similar to Xiaomi’s previous Dragon Crystal Glass effect.
