Huawei Mate XT 2 available for purchase on JD.com: No need to rush anymore!
Fast Technology reported that Huawei launched its new generation tri-fold Mate XT 2 Extraordinary Master in September, with a starting price of 19,999 yuan. The new product debuted with the Kirin 9050 Pro chip and was in high demand upon release.
After more than a month, the Huawei Mate XT 2 is now available for purchase on JD.com’s self-operated store, eliminating the need for users to wait in line to snag a unit. Orders placed now for the Mate XT 2 are expected to ship before November 30th.

Currently, the 16GB+512GB, 16GB+1TB, and 16GB+1TB versions with the Shield privacy screen are available for purchase, while other versions are still out of stock. This change to open sales indicates that the production capacity of the Kirin 9050 Pro is accelerating; however, due to greater market demand, consumers will still need to wait some time to receive their new devices.
This device adopts a brand-new tri-fold design, with the left and right screens folding inwards to completely enclose the main screen, thus improving screen protection. In the folded state, the 6.5-inch external screen can handle frequent short tasks such as messaging and payments; when fully unfolded, the 10.2-inch internal screen can be used for reading, multitasking, and content creation. Different screen states correspond to different task intensities, establishing a more direct link between form factor changes and actual use.
At the same time, the large screen provides a near-PC-level expansive field of view, while Xiaoyi, as a trainable system intelligence agent, fully unleashes the AI capabilities of the system and ecosystem. This powerful combination simplifies complex tasks.
From offline image library organization and instruction-based document editing to Xiaoyi’s natural chat, Huawei applies system-level AI capabilities to every real-life scenario, bringing a smarter and more efficient experience.
