Huawei Pura 80 series supports dual focal lengths with one lens

Huawei Terminal announced through its official Weibo that the Huawei Pura 80 series and full-scenario new product launch conference will be held at 14:30 on June 11, when the Huawei Pura 80 series new phones will be released.

Blogger Digital Chat Station revealed that Huawei’s Pura 80 series is internally codenamed HL. It is the first domestically produced one-inch main camera and features a new structure super telescope. Unlike other periscope telephoto cameras, the Pura 80 series is equipped with a multi-focal-length periscope, which may be a dual-focal-length lens.

Specifically, the Huawei Pura 80 series’ one-lens, dual-focal-length periscope has a module with high optical sensitivity and adopts a multi-fold optical structure design. It controls different light paths through movable parts and enables different optical focal lengths, ultimately realizing the black technology of “one-lens, dual-focal-length”. The imaging specifications can be called the “ceiling” in the mobile phone industry.

It is reported that Huawei’s Pura 80 series is the first to be equipped with a 50-megapixel 1/1.3-inch ultra-large bottom periscope lens, using an RYYB array and supporting OIS optical image stabilization.

Currently, the largest periscope telephoto lens in the industry is the Samsung HP9, which has a large base of 1/1.4 inches. The Huawei Pura 80 Ultra’s periscope telephoto lens exceeds that of the Samsung HP9, setting a new industry record.

In addition, the Huawei Pura 80 series is equipped with Hongmeng 5 when it leaves the factory. From the public beta to the official version, Hongmeng 5 has undergone dozens of iterative upgrades, making the system more complete and the ecology more mature.

In addition, Hongmeng 5 has reconstructed the underlying layer, adopting the Hongmeng kernel and Ark engine, and combined with end-cloud collaboration, the performance of the whole machine has been greatly improved, and the experience is smoother.
