The Pura X View is a new member of Huawei’s wide-screen family. Following the Pura X and Pura X Max wide foldable models, Huawei has brought the wide-screen form factor to a candybar phone. All models have 12GB of RAM, and the price is divided into three versions based on storage size: 5999 yuan (256GB), 6999 yuan (512GB), and 8499 yuan (1TB).
The key highlight is its 6.39-inch OLED widescreen display, which features a special 16:9.5 aspect ratio, a display area of 114.27 square centimeters, a screen-to-body ratio of 96.1%, a resolution of 2232×1320, and supports a 1-120Hz LTPO adaptive refresh rate, 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, and a local peak brightness of 6500 nits.
Compared to regular slim phone screens, it has a larger horizontal display area, and with a black border width of only 1.05mm on all four sides, it provides a wider and more immersive viewing experience for watching videos, reading documents, and playing games in landscape mode.
In addition, the body is only 6.68mm thick and weighs 201g, balancing a large battery with a slim and lightweight feel.
