Huawei To Release Down Clocked Version Of Mate 70 Pro: Geekbench

Huawei has launched Mate 70 Pro and Mate 70 Pro+ in November last year, Huawei boasts these premium flagships as the most innovative, powerful and trendy phones. The company has recently tested the new device codenamed PLT-ALOO on the Geekbench and the leaker suggests that this is a down clocked version of the previous Huawei Mate Pro which was codenamed PLR-AL00.
According to the details provided by the leaker on Weibo, The new down clocked version is lacking in overall all Geekbench score which was tested a few months back.

The new device was running on Kirin 9020 processor with (1×2.4GHz Taishan core plus 3×2.0GHz Taishan core + 4×1.6GHz small core along with Maleoon 920 GPU) including 12GB RAM. The single-core score was recorded at 1450 points and the multi-core score was at 3793.
Having said that, on the other hand, the previous PLR-A00 was running on Kirin 9020 is 1×2.5GHz Taishan core plus 3×2.15GHz Taishan core plus 4×1.6GHz small core along with Maleoon 920 840MHz GPU. And the recorded Geekbench scores were 1577 and 4939 on single-core and multi-core respectively.

As you can see in the image above, the new model PLR-AL50 is slightly lower than the original version. This new device is focused on less performance as compared to the previous Chinese version. Huawei is expected to release a new version of Huawei Mate 70 Pro which might be focused on the other markets.
