Huawei’s new generation flagship Mate 90 series will be released in September. According to information from the official website of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the new product launch event is expected to be held on September 23.

Previously, a render image purported to be of the Huawei Mate 90 was leaked online, showing that the new phone’s rear camera Deco design has been changed to a square shape, sparking much discussion among netizens.

However, today, blogger “Dingjiao Digital” revealed that the Huawei Mate 90 series will continue the classic “star ring design”, while Huawei’s new generation of tri-fold phone Deco will change from a circle to a square shape.

According to this statement, Huawei’s new tri-fold phone will see significant changes in its appearance design, while the Mate 90 series will continue to retain the highly recognizable star ring design of Huawei’s flagship phones in recent years.

Besides its appearance, another major highlight of the Huawei Mate 90 series will be the new generation Kirin platform.

According to previous leaks, the Mate 90 series is expected to be the first flagship phone under the “Tao Law” (a reference to a specific brand of Mate 90), and the new chip may be named Kirin 9050 Pro.

The chip will be built based on the “Tao Law” and logic folding technology. By upgrading the core logic circuit to a dual-layer vertical stacking architecture, “time miniaturization” will replace the traditional “geometric miniaturization,” further improving chip performance and energy efficiency without relying solely on more advanced lithography processes.
