Blogger Majin Bu revealed the detailed information of iPhone 17 Air.

It is reported that the iPhone 17 Air uses a 7000 series aluminum alloy frame , which is an aluminum alloy material with Zn (zinc) as the main alloying element. It has good thermal deformation performance and can obtain higher strength under appropriate heat treatment conditions. It has good welding performance and good corrosion resistance.

Not only that, the iPhone 17 Air is only 5.5mm thick, making it the thinnest iPhone in Apple’s history, and weighs only 146g, which is only 3g heavier than the iPhone 6s, but the screen size is much larger than the iPhone 6s (the iPhone 17 Air is about 6.6 inches, and the iPhone 6s is 4.7 inches).

Because the iPhone 17 Air is too thin and light, Apple cannot fit in a large-capacity battery. It is reported that the battery capacity of the 17 Air is about 20% less than that of the iPhone 16, and it is likely to be less than 3000mAh. In order to make up for the shortcomings in battery life, Apple may launch an external battery that supports MagSafe charging to facilitate timely recovery of the phone.

In terms of industrial design, the iPhone 17 Air uses a horizontal camera module on the back and is only equipped with a 48-megapixel camera. There is no physical SIM card slot on the side of the body, and it supports eSIM.
