iPhone 18 Pro series design revealed: First to feature a smaller version of the Dynamic Island screen.
The iPhone 18 Pro series will be released as scheduled in September this year, and various CAD data and appearance drawings have already been released.
The latest images confirm that the iPhone 18 Pro series will be the first to feature a smaller “Island” display, with a significantly smaller punch-hole area compared to the previous “Island” design.

According to supply chain information, the width of the iPhone 18 Pro series’ “Island” has been reduced from 20.76 mm to 13.49 mm, a reduction of approximately 35% in area.
This is the first time since Lingdong Island was launched that it has been significantly slimmed down, with a screen ratio exceeding 95%, greatly reducing the sense of obstruction when watching movies or playing games in landscape mode.

The overall layout on the front remains unchanged, still centered, and does not use an under-display Face ID solution. The front camera is still located at the top center.
The screen size remains the same at 6.3 inches for the Pro version and 6.9 inches for the Pro Max version, with the peak brightness of the Super Retina XDR panel increased to 2600 nits, providing better outdoor visibility.

The body retains the aluminum metal frame + AG frosted glass design. The Pro version is about 8.3 mm thick and the Pro Max version is about 8.9 mm thick, with slight weight adjustments.
The new main color is deep cherry red (burgundy), with a low-saturation matte finish. Other new colors available include misty purple and deep space gray-blue.
The rear triple-camera module design remains unchanged, with minor adjustments to the camera protrusion. The imaging system has been upgraded to a variable aperture main camera, further optimizing the imaging effect.
The exterior design has been finalized and is now in the final verification stage before mass production. There may be minor adjustments to the details later.
