iQOO 16 officially announced for release at the end of September!

Fast Technology reported that iQOO announced that the iQOO 16 will be officially launched at the end of September, positioned as a “technological performance flagship”.

According to Wang Kan, product manager of iQOO flagship series, the iQOO 16 will be equipped with a brand-new self-developed e-sports chip, and will be combined with the new generation Monster super core engine to further unleash the performance of the Snapdragon top flagship platform.

In terms of gaming experience, the new phone will focus on enhancing mobile ray tracing performance, bringing higher-specification lighting effects and e-sports visual effects.

Regarding the screen, iQOO continues its deep collaboration with Samsung Display, with both parties jointly creating a world-class screen that focuses on improving clarity, smoothness, and display quality, while also providing a high-resolution and high-refresh-rate experience.

In terms of design, the iQOO 16 will also undergo significant changes, with the new phone adopting a more futuristic and technologically advanced appearance, further enhancing its recognition as a performance flagship.

Wang Kan stated, “The answer to endless exploration is that the iQOO 16, as the standard version, delivers ultimate product capabilities that surpass the Pro Max.”

According to previous leaks from digital blogger “Digital Chat Station”, the iQOO 16 is expected to be the first to use Samsung’s latest generation M16 luminescent material, and will also be equipped with the new generation LEAD display technology.

In terms of performance, the iQOO 16 will be among the first to be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Super Edition chip, which uses a new 2+3+3 Oryon CPU architecture and is built on TSMC’s 2nm N2P process.

The CPU consists of two ultra-large cores with a maximum speed of 5.01GHz, three large cores with a speed of 4.03GHz, and three medium cores with a speed of 3.74GHz, and also integrates an Adreno 850 GPU.
