Netizens discovered that all Meizu phones have been removed from the official Tmall flagship store, with only some PANDAER series accessories still available for sale.

Specifically, not only Meizu’s flagship digital series, but also the Meizu Lucky 08 and Meizu Note 16 series, which are positioned in the 1,000 yuan market, have all disappeared from the Tmall platform.

In contrast, Meizu’s official JD.com store still has some remaining stock, including the Meizu 22, Meizu Note 16, and Meizu Lucky 08 series. However, due to limited inventory, many popular models are out of stock. For example,
only the Meizu White color of the Meizu 22 is currently available for order, while the main colors such as Borderless Black, Passion Pink, and Moonlight Blue are all sold out.

This series of unusual channel actions further confirms the previous revelations from multiple insiders: Meizu’s mobile phone business has essentially come to a standstill and plans to officially delist in March 2026.

Although Meizu’s official customer service responded that they had not received any relevant notification, all indications suggest that internal turmoil is becoming increasingly difficult to conceal. According to internal employees, the Meizu 23 series project, which was initially highly anticipated and touted as having the narrowest bezels in history, has been halted.

According to the latest strategic adjustment plan, Meizu’s Flyme Auto in-vehicle system business will be spun off and operated independently, while being more deeply integrated into the Geely system. Meanwhile, the mobile phone R&D team is undergoing overall optimization, with some employees already transferring to related businesses such as Jike Auto.

Looking back on Meizu’s 23-year history, from being a leader in the domestic MP3 industry in 2003 to pioneering domestic smartphones in 2009, Meizu once won the reputation of being small and beautiful in the mobile phone industry with its aesthetically pleasing Flyme system and its pursuit of ultimate design language.

However, amidst the epic memory price surge and fierce competition for existing market share in 2026, Meizu’s mobile phone business failed to escape its profitability predicament. If its delisting in March 2026 comes to fruition, this mobile phone brand, which accompanied a generation through their youth, will finally bid farewell to the market.
