Nanxin Technology successfully qualified for the first batch of Qi2.2 certifications in the world
The Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) recently announced the world’s first batch of Qi2.2 certified devices. The well-known brand Aukey’s dual-mobile wireless charger MagFusion 2X is on the list, and the Nanxin Technology 25W wireless charging module SM232A it is equipped with has become the core driving force for the product to pass the certification .
As the latest version of the wireless charging protocol, Qi2.2 retains the advantage of magnetic precision alignment while increasing the MPP power limit from 15W to 25W and introducing a stricter multi-point temperature control strategy.
Actual tests show that MagFusion 2X can fully charge an iPhone 16 Pro Max 25 minutes faster than the previous generation Qi products.
The SM232A module also boasts impressive performance. It supports the Qi2.2 protocol and 25W MPP wireless charging, and is backward compatible with multiple modes. It houses Nanxin’s self-developed SC96019 protocol SoC, integrating multiple units such as a full-bridge controller. It is compatible with DC power supplies, USB-PD, and other power supply methods, and features multiple protection mechanisms.
With the release of Qi2.2, more devices will support this wireless charging protocol in the future.
