OnePlus has officially confirmed that it is developing a completely new line of smartphones which will be known as the Turbo series. According to recent leaks and rumors the company is expected to launch two devices at the beginning of this new series. One of these devices might have already been spotted online on Geekbench under the model number PLU110.
This device will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor and will come with 16GB of RAM making it capable of handling demanding apps and games. It will run on the latest Android 16 operating system. Based on information from past rumors the phone is expected to come with a “1.5K” resolution screen that supports a fast 165Hz refresh rate. On top of that, it could come with an enormous 9,000 mAh battery which should provide very long battery life.
The second phone in the Turbo series is rumored to come with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. It will likely include the same big battery as the first model and a display with the same fast refresh rate. The series is expected to be released in China in January. Many are looking forward to seeing its performance and battery life in real use. The phone could appeal to anyone who wants a powerful device that lasts all day.
