Nubia officially announced its new AI product: touted as a new species of mobile phone, see you at MWC.

 Fast Technology reported that Nubia announced it will release a new AI product at MWC 2026 that will “redefine the mobile phone”.

Ni Fei, President of Nubia Technology Co., Ltd., has high hopes for this. He stated that Nubia has been committed to exploring the practical applications of cutting-edge AI technologies, and 2026 is a crucial year for the accelerated popularization of AI hardware. At the upcoming MWC global technology event, ZTE Nubia will showcase a series of innovative achievements.

Although the official stance remains somewhat mysterious, many netizens speculate that this new species is very likely the next generation of bean-shaped mobile phones.

Back in December of last year, ByteDance and Nubia joined forces to launch a prototype Nubia M153 smartphone. Even though its price of 3499 yuan wasn’t low at the time, it sold out quickly after its release.

This phone caused a sensation because it deeply integrates an AI assistant into the operating system’s underlying layer. Users can command their phones to perform complex cross-application operations with just one sentence, such as ordering takeout or posting on Weibo, completely changing the logic of human-computer interaction.
