OPPO ColorOS announces upgrade to enable seamless chatting without internet connection
OPPO ColorOS recently announced a new upgrade for offline chatting. When there is no network, you can not only make voice calls, but also send pictures, text and voice.
Usage path: Open “Settings” – select “Mobile Network” – turn on “Chat without Network”, select the OUGA phone you want to contact – send a message.
It is understood that offline chatting is a function that uses Bluetooth technology to solve near-field communication problems.
With the latest Bluetooth 5.4 technology, you can make calls with nearby mobile phones that are also enabled for offline chatting. Just keep Bluetooth turned on.
This function is suitable for use in scenarios such as traveling abroad, desert hiking, exploring uninhabited areas, outdoor climbing, or concerts. When there is no network or the signal is poor, you can communicate with teammates through offline chat, just like a walkie-talkie.
