OPPO Find X10 Pro Max is among the first phones to feature the Dimensity 9600 Pro
Fast Technology reported that MediaTek officially launched its new generation flagship platform, the Dimensity 9600 Pro, this afternoon. At the launch event, OPPO Vice President Wu Henggang announced that the OPPO Find X10 Pro Max will be among the first phones to feature the Dimensity 9600 Pro flagship platform.
Wu Henggang stated that the Dimensity 9600 Pro flagship platform, paired with OPPO’s new ColorOS 17 operating system, will deliver a smooth experience even after six years of use.
In terms of specifications, the Dimensity 9600 Pro features two 4.55GHz C2-Ultra ultra-large cores, three 4.35GHz C2 Pro large cores, and three 3.10GHz C2 Pro large cores. The CPU single-core performance is improved by 17%, the multi-core performance is improved by 15%, the ultra-large core power consumption is reduced by 37%, and the multi-core power consumption is reduced by 61%.
Furthermore, the Dimensity 9600 Pro utilizes TSMC’s 2nm process and boasts over 33 billion transistors. Compared to the 3nm process, it offers a 14% performance improvement and a 23% reduction in power consumption.
To unleash the true potential of this 2nm chip, OPPO’s new-generation Tide Engine employs extreme dynamic resource allocation, enabling faster, more timely, and more sustained high-frame-rate gaming and large-scale on-device model inference.
Meanwhile, the newly developed self-developed Falcon Scheduler solves the long-standing trade-off between high-specification imaging and high performance. On the Find X10 series, the 200-megapixel lens’s burst shutter remains responsive, even during extended 4K 60fps video recording. In real-world testing, the OPPO Find X10 series can run mainstream high-end games at full frame rate for up to 8 hours continuously.
The OPPO Find X10 Pro Max, powered by the Dimensity 9600 Pro, will be officially released on September 22. The OPPO Find X10E and OPPO Find X10 standard edition will also be launched at the same time. This will be the most powerful Dimensity flagship in OPPO’s history.
