blogger Digital Chat Station revealed the imaging details of OPPO Find X8 Ultra. The phone continues the dual periscope solution of the previous generation and is the industry’s first Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition dual periscope flagship.

It is reported that OPPO Find X8 Ultra is equipped with a 50-megapixel 3x periscope telephoto lens and a 50-megapixel 6x periscope telephoto lens . The former model is Sony IMX906, with a large bottom of 1/1.56 inches, and the latter model is Sony IMX882, with a small bottom of 1/2 inches.

Compared with the traditional single periscope lens, the advantage of dual periscope is that users do not have to be limited to choosing between a single lens in the 3x or 5x range, but can achieve smooth zoom in the range of 3x to 6x at the same time, providing greater creative freedom.

In addition, OPPO Find X8 Ultra is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition processor. This chip uses the more advanced TSMC 3nm (N3E) process. Compared with the Snapdragon 8 Gen3’s 4nm process, both performance and energy efficiency have been improved.

According to the information, the Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition introduced the second-generation Oryon core and adopted a 2+6 architecture. The main frequency of the two large cores is as high as 4.32GHz, and the frequency of the remaining six cores is 3.53GHz.

Currently, OPPO Find X8 Ultra has obtained network access permission. The model is PKH120, code-named Mount Everest, suggesting that the phone will have the industry’s strongest imaging capabilities.

The phone will be launched after the Spring Festival.
