OPPO Find X9 Ultra key specifications revealed: 1.5K ultra-narrow straight screen + Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chip

Blogger Digital Chat Station revealed that OPPO Find X9 Ultra is currently testing a 1.5K LIPO ultra-narrow straight screen and is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 flagship platform.

Compared with the previous generation, OPPO Find X9 Ultra further narrows the screen bezel. The phone uses a new LIPO screen packaging process, which is called “low injection pressure overmolding” in Chinese.

By using polymer liquid material to wrap the wiring area, the buffer protection area is eliminated, an extremely narrow bezel is achieved, and the visual experience is significantly improved. In addition, the LIPO package also has better protection performance and consistency.

Compared with traditional COG and COF packaging technologies, LIPO technology can significantly compress the width of the screen border, while also placing higher requirements on the manufacturer’s clean environment, equipment and materials, and its cost is also higher than traditional packaging processes.

In addition, the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 equipped with OPPO Find X9 Ultra uses a new generation of Oryon CPU, manufactured based on TSMC’s third-generation 3nm process N3P, with a 16MB independent GPU cache and an integrated Adreno 840 GPU.

According to the release rhythm, OPPO will launch Find X9 and Find X9 Pro in the second half of this year, and Find X9s and Find X9 Ultra in the first half of next year.
