OPPO Reno17 series officially announced, to be unveiled on November 9th

the OPPO Reno17 series will be unveiled on November 9th, and is expected to bring two models: Reno17 and Reno17 Pro.
Previously, Zhang Ruoxing, product manager of the OPPO Reno series, shared sample photos taken with the Reno17 series and announced that the new phone will launch a full-focal-length 4K ultra-clear long live video function, extending the single live video duration from 3 seconds to 6 seconds for the first time, further improving the recording capability of dynamic images.
In addition, Zhang Ruoxing also announced the new Live Sticker feature for the Reno17 series, which brings three functions: subject following, status stickers, and free layers.
Among them, the subject follow feature allows the sticker to move with the people or objects in the picture, achieving a dynamic effect similar to camera tracking; the status sticker feature allows you to turn life records such as the milk tea you drank or the music you listened to into personalized stickers, making live photos more personalized.
The free layer uses AI to intelligently identify the main subject of the image, allowing users to freely adjust the layering of stickers and create a richer sense of space in the photo collage.
According to leaks, the Reno17 Pro will feature a 6.32-inch 1.5K resolution flat screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8550 SUPER processor.
In terms of imaging, the Reno17 Pro features a triple-camera setup on the back, including a 200-megapixel large-sensor gimbal main camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens, catering to the needs of daily shooting, wide-angle framing, and long-distance zoom.
In terms of battery life, the new phone’s battery capacity is expected to be around 7000mAh.
Based on the information currently available, the OPPO Reno17 Pro will focus on a small-sized flat screen, flagship-level imaging, and a large-capacity battery, maintaining a relatively lightweight body while balancing photography experience and battery life.
