The “old 8” here should be Realme’s upcoming annual flagship Realme GT8 Pro, which is the first to be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 flagship platform.

Blogger Digital Chat Station previously revealed that the selling point of Realme GT8 Pro is imaging. The phone has a rear 50-megapixel main camera, a 200-megapixel periscope and an ultra-wide-angle lens. The 200-megapixel telephoto lens is unique among sub-brands, and this is Realme’s killer feature.

It is revealed that the 200-megapixel periscope telephoto model of Realme GT8 Pro is Samsung HP5, with a single pixel size of 0.5μm, a large bottom of 1/1.56 inches, and support for DCG-HDR. Its telephoto capability will be greatly improved.

In addition, the realme GT8 Pro is the first to be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite 2. It uses the second-generation self-developed Oryon CPU architecture, and its multi-core score is expected to exceed 11,000 points. In comparison, the multi-core score of Snapdragon 8 Elite is around 9,800.
