Realme Neo8 Battery Specs and New Features Unveiled
With only a few days remaining until its launch, Realme has confirmed several new details about the upcoming Neo8 smartphone. The company has announced that device is scheduled to debut on January 22 in China and will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC, promising advanced performance and efficiency.
Through multiple Weibo posts Realme has officially revealed key details about the upcoming Neo8 smartphone including its battery capacity and other features. The device will feature an 8,000mAh battery which is 1,000mAh larger than the Neo7’s providing users with extended battery life and improved overall performance.
Realme has also confirmed that the Neo8 smartphone will offer high level durability with IP66, IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance. In addition it will feature a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner providing user an enhanced security and convenient access.
Realme has confirmed that Neo8 will feature Samsung M14 OLED display with fast 165Hz refresh rate. The screen will also be protected by Crystal Armor glass providing enhanced resistance against scratches and everyday impacts.
In addition to its other features the Realme Neo8 will include an X axis linear motor for precise haptic feedback super linear stereo speakers for enhanced audio an infrared sensor multi-angle NFC support and dual frequency GPS for accurate location tracking. The device will run on Realme UI 7.0 and is confirmed to receive three years of software updates, ensuring long term performance improvements and security enhancements for users.
The Realme Neo8 will be available in three aesthetic color options: Cyber Purple, Mecha Grey and Origin White giving users the ability to choose the look that matches their style. The smartphone will also feature a triple rear camera setup with support, for up to 120x digital zoom complemented by an LED light strip to enhance lighting for photos and videos.
