Xiaomi’s annual flagship, the REDMI K80 series, will be officially released. This is the strongest flagship in the history of REDMI, with new upgrades in performance, battery life, imaging, etc.

This year’s K80 series features two flagships, namely K80 and K80 Pro. The former will be equipped with the third-generation Snapdragon 8 chip, while the latter will be the latest Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition chip, supporting the gaming graphics card D1 and Rage Engine 4.0, with an AnTuTu comprehensive performance score of 3194766.

It is understood that the K80 series uses 2K Huaxing LTPS straight screen and the new M9 luminous material. The entire series supports full-brightness DC dimming, circularly polarized light technology, AON texture eye protection, and ultrasonic fingerprint unlocking.

In terms of imaging, the K80 Pro is equipped with a full-focal-range flagship triple-camera, becoming the “three strongest” in the history of REDMI imaging, including: flagship high-dynamic main camera + flagship floating telephoto + high-pixel ultra-wide-angle.

Specifically, the main camera of K80 Pro is Light Hunter 800, equipped with a 50-megapixel high-pixel floating telephoto and a 32-megapixel high-pixel ultra-wide-angle.

REDMI product manager Hu Xinxin said that the delivery goal of this camera is to fully compete with Xiaomi 15, and everything that can be given is given except Leica.

Of course, there are still some differences between K80 Pro and K80. The Pro version pursues full imaging, while the K80 has the same main camera and experience as the Pro. It does not add a floating telephoto configuration and has a lower purchase price.

In terms of battery life, REDMI K80 Pro has a built-in 6000mAh Xiaomi Jinshajiang battery, which supports 120W super-fast charging and 50W wireless charging.

It is worth mentioning that the K80 adopts a metal frame and a non-hole design on the top, and the entire series supports IP68 and IP69 waterproof.

REDMI said that K80 is the strongest standard version in the history of the K series, with a screen, heat dissipation, and quality that challenge the strongest within 3,000 yuan.

In terms of price, the positioning of this generation of K80 series has been upgraded, and the price will also increase. It is expected that the K80 will be priced at 3,000 yuan, and the K80 Pro will be priced at 4,000 yuan. Whether Wang Teng has convinced Lei Jun and whether there will be limited-time discounts or other surprises will be revealed at the press conference.
