Redmi Turbo 5 And Turbo 5 Pro Chipsets Surface in Latest Leak

Over the past several months there has been alot of excitement and discussion online about the upcoming Redmi Turbo 5 series. Tech enthusiasts and fans have shared countless rumors about features these new devices might offer and many people have been curious about their design, performance and specifications. Recently a new leak has emerged that reveals the chipsets expected to be included in both the Turbo 5 and the Turbo 5 Pro giving us a clearer picture of the hardware that will power these much anticipated phones.

A tipster on the social media platform Weibo has shared some early information about the upcoming Redmi Turbo 5 series. According to the leak the standard Redmi Turbo 5 is likely to feature MediaTek Dimensity 8500 SoC while more advanced Turbo 5 Pro is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500e chipset which could provide better performance and improved efficiency.

It’s worth noting that neither of the Dimensity chipsets expected for the Redmi Turbo 5 series has been officially announced by MediaTek. According to one recent rumor, the Redmi Turbo 5 series could launch alongside the Xiaomi 17 Ultra on December 25.However, another leak suggests that the phones might instead debut in January 2026 leaving some uncertainty about the exact release date.

Earlier reports and leaks have suggested that the Turbo 5 could feature a 6.6-inch display with a 1.5K resolution.The device is also expected to include a durable metal frame and an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner for added security and a large 7,500mAh battery which should provide long lasting performance throughout the day.

Meanwhile recent reports suggest that the Turbo 5 Pro will feature an impressive 9000mAh battery with support for 100W wired fast charging allowing for quick recharges. The smartphone is also expected to come with durable metal frame, a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner for secure unlocking and an LTPS OLED display with a 1.5K resolution, offering sharp and vibrant visuals.
