REDMI Turbo 5 exposed: the world’s first Dimensity 8500
REDMI is expected to launch a new product in the Turbo series – REDMI Turbo 5 in Q4 this year. The phone has appeared in the IMEI database with model number 2511FRT34C. Its corresponding international version is Xiaomi POCO X8 Pro, whose model number is 2511FPC34G. The Indian version of POCO X8 Pro is model 2511FPC34I.
As a new member of the Turbo series, REDMI Turbo 5 is the first to be equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 8500 chip, which is MediaTek’s most powerful Dimensity 8 series processor.
In December last year, REDMI Turbo 4 was first equipped with the Dimensity 8400 series chip. It adopts the same full-core architecture design as the flagship, with 8 Arm Cortex-A725 large cores with a main frequency of up to 3.25GHz, and the second-level cache is doubled and the third-level cache is increased by 50%.
As the iterative chip of Dimensity 8400, Dimensity 8500 will still adopt the full large-core architecture design and is expected to be manufactured by TSMC. Its performance will reach new highs.
In addition, REDMI Turbo 5 will use a 1.5K LTPS straight screen, equipped with a metal middle frame, and a battery capacity of more than 7000mAh.
