Samsung Gives First Official Look at Exynos 2600
Samsung has just released a detailed teaser video for the Exynos 2600 on its official YouTube channel, marking one of the first public hints about its next generation mobile processor. In the short clip, the company includes the message “In silence, we listened,” which appears to be a reference to the long standing complaints about slow performance and overheating that affected some earlier Exynos chips. Through this message, Samsung is indirectly letting people know that they are aware of the criticism and are working to address the weaknesses found in previous versions of its chips.
Samsung’s next flagship processor which is expected to be built using Samsung Foundry’s advanced 2nm manufacturing technology, is being promoted with phrases like “refined at the core” and “optimized at every level.” This wording indicates that Samsung has carefully improved the internal design of the Exynos 2600 to make sure it performs better and runs more efficiently than older chips. Samsung also claims that the chip is made to “express the exceptional” suggesting that it aims to offer a noticeably upgraded experience for users.
