Honor will offer the Magic V6 in two separate versions: one equipped with BeiDou satellite messaging capabilities and one without. Beyond this feature there is an even more significant distinction between the two models.

The Magic V6 carrying the model number PNM-AN20 will come with satellite connectivity and an enormous 7,150mAh battery which is the largest battery ever seen on a foldable device. Additionally it will support an equally impressive 120W fast charging standard, a feat that so far only one other foldable smartphone has achieved.

The version of the Magic V6 that lacks satellite connectivity known as the PNM-AN10 will feature a smaller 6,850mAh battery and provide support for 80W fast charging. Although this charging speed is somewhat slower compared to the other model, it remains extremely rapid and highly efficient.

This is still considerably larger than the battery in the Honor Magic V5. The international edition of the V5 features a 5,820mAh battery whereas the Chinese edition has a somewhat larger 6,100mAh battery. Both variants support fast 66W wired charging in addition to 50W wireless charging.

The Magic V6 model with satellite connectivity, the PNM-AN20 will be offered in two memory and storage configurations: 12GB of RAM with 256GB of storage and a higher end option with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. Meanwhile the PNM-AN10 which lacks satellite connectivity is shown in the screenshot with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage though a more basic 12GB RAM with 256GB storage version is also expected to be available.

The screenshot also reveals that the Magic V6 will feature the C1+ wireless chip and the E2 power management chip both developed in house by Honor. As expected the phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor ensuring top tier performance. Additionally, the Magic V6 is expected to sport a 200MP main camera further enhancing its imaging capabilities.

Honor has officially announced that the Honor Magic V6 will be on display at this year’s MWC. Additionally the Robot Phone will make an appearance featuring a more advanced and functional design compared to the version shown at CES.

In fact, just last week the Magic V6 was seen in the hands of Olympic champion Xu Mengtao at the Winter Games and Honor has since made the device’s presence official by releasing a video teaser.
