the iPhone 18 Pro series will be released in September this year, bringing two models: the iPhone 18 Pro and the iPhone 18 Pro Max.

Today, leaker Sonny Dickson released a set of photos of mockups of the iPhone 18 Pro series and Apple’s first foldable iPhone Fold.

Judging from the leaked models
, the overall design of the iPhone 18 Pro series continues the style of its predecessor. The back still adopts a horizontal large matrix Deco, and the arrangement of the three cameras remains basically unchanged, making it still easily recognizable.

The front features a minor upgrade,
with the screen-to-body ratio reduced by approximately 35% compared to the iPhone 17 Pro.

In terms of screen size, the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max maintain the specifications of 6.3 inches and 6.9 inches, respectively.

In terms of details, the series will still retain a physical camera button.

However, reports suggest that in order to control costs, the new device will switch from the original capacitive + pressure-sensitive solution to a pure pressure-sensitive design.

Industry insiders believe that complex solutions not only have higher costs but also relatively expensive maintenance. Furthermore, with related AI and vision functions not yet fully implemented, the value of buttons has not been fully realized, which also increases cost pressure to some extent.

In terms of core configuration, the iPhone 18 Pro series will be equipped with the A20 Pro chip built on a 2nm process.

Thanks to a more advanced manufacturing process, the new chip will bring significant improvements in both performance and energy efficiency, providing stronger computing power while further reducing power consumption.
