The REDMI K100 comes pre-installed with Surge OS 4!
Fast Technology reported that REDMI announced that the REDMI K100 comes pre-installed with Xiaomi’s Surge OS 4, featuring the same vibrant aesthetic as Xiaomi’s flagship phones and offering a smoother user experience.
According to reports, the REDMI K100 is equipped with Super AI 2.0 driven by Xiaomi MiMo’s large model, supporting new AI experiences such as convenient memory, and can also achieve cross-device interoperability, allowing users to directly process mobile phone data through tablets and PCs.
In addition, the new device also features comprehensive privacy protection capabilities, further ensuring user data security.
REDMI Product Manager Hu Xinxin said that since the official release of Xiaomi’s Surge OS 4, user feedback has been generally positive.
The new system not only brings a more adaptable experience to various scenarios, a visually appealing soft-light glass effect, and water ripple animation, but also upgrades to the latest version of Super Xiao Ai 2.0, resulting in a significant improvement in overall smoothness and stability.
Hu Xinxin stated that the K100 comes pre-installed with OS 4, which includes all of these features. In actual tests, compared to other phones on the same platform, it is significantly smoother.
In terms of hardware configuration, the REDMI K100 is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Ultra, a 6.83-inch 1.5K resolution flat screen, supports a 165Hz refresh rate, has a built-in 10000mAh large battery, and supports 100W wired fast charging.
The new device features dual 1115X symmetrical speakers tuned by Bose; it also has a 0815 X-axis linear motor, supports 3D ultrasonic fingerprint recognition, and is IP68 dust and water resistant.
In terms of imaging, the REDMI K100 features a rear dual-camera setup with 50-megapixel sensors, and the main camera has a large 1/1.55-inch sensor.
