The world’s first Dimensity 9600 Pro phone was launched, and over 230,000 people pre-ordered the vivo X500 series.
According to Fast Technology on September 6, the vivo X500 series will be officially released this month. The new phone is currently available for pre-order on the vivo official website, and the number of pre-orders has exceeded 230,000.

It is understood that the vivo X500 series includes three models: X500, X500 Pro, and X500 Pro Max, all of which are equipped with MediaTek’s Dimensity flagship platform.
Among them, the vivo X500 will be equipped with the Dimensity 9600, while the X500 Pro and X500 Pro Max will be the first to feature the Dimensity 9600 Pro.
The Dimensity 9600 Pro features an 8-core CPU design, including two 4.55GHz ultra-large cores, three 4.35GHz large cores, and three 3.1GHz medium cores, positioning it as a new generation of top-tier flagship Dimensity platform.
Imaging is also a major focus of the vivo X500 Pro series.
According to reports, the X500 Pro series will be the world’s first to feature a Zeiss super dynamic main camera co-developed with Sony, with an actual output dynamic range of up to 17EV. In complex scenarios such as backlighting, high contrast, and high light ratio, it can retain more highlights and shadow details.
Based on this Zeiss ultra-dynamic main camera, the X500 Pro series will also be the first to support 4K 240fps high-light slow-motion video recording.
Compared to the common 4K 30fps video, 4K 240fps can record more time frames, providing more picture information for slow motion in post-production, making it especially suitable for scenarios that require capturing high-speed moments, such as travel and sports.
In terms of system, the vivo X500 series will come pre-installed with OriginOS 7 and support new features such as the Atomic Workbench and the ability to interrupt the first frame interaction.
