The Xiaomi 18 Pro series will be officially released in September. The new phone will continue to feature a rear screen and bring a brand-new “versatile rear screen” feature.
Today, Xiaomi further showcased more features of the Xiaomi 18 Pro series’ back screen, including timed egg cooking, daily water intake tracking, focus mode, vocabulary memorization, and a lottery system to decide what to eat.
In addition to the preset functions, this back screen also supports the generation of application cards via AI.
Users can generate corresponding back screen application cards themselves using AI according to their needs, further expanding the usage scenarios of the back screen.
According to Lu Weibing, president of Xiaomi Group, the Miaoxiang Back Screen has been well received by many users since its release last year. Currently, users use various application cards on the back screen more than 4 million times a day, and the number of wallpapers added to the back screen exceeds 3.5 million per day.
In terms of appearance, the Xiaomi 18 Pro series continues the horizontal large matrix camera module + back screen design and is equipped with Leica triple camera. The overall ID is basically the same as the previous generation, but the back screen bezel is further narrowed and a button has been added to the side of the body.
