Vivo has expanded its V60 series by adding a new member called the V60 Lite. Although it is being introduced as a new addition to the lineup, the device itself is not entirely new as it was first launched in September of last year. A revised version of the smartphone carrying the model number V2549 has now been listed in Panama and comes with one significant update. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2 chipset making it the first smartphone to launch with this processor. As a result, the previous Snapdragon 685 chip has been replaced in this latest version.

The rest of the specifications remain unchanged from the earlier V60 Lite model. The smartphone still sports a large 6.77 inch AMOLED screen that offers Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate for a smoother viewing experience. On the front users will find 32MP camera designed for selfies and video calls. It also includes an optical fingerprint scanner placed beneath the display for added security. On the back the phone retains the same dual camera setup consisting of 50MP primary camera for detailed photos and an 8MP ultrawide lens for capturing wider scenes. The battery remains rated at 6,500 mAh and continues to support 90W wired fast charging, along with 6W reverse wired charging for powering other devices.

The smartphone runs on Funtouch OS 15 which is based on Android 15 providing users with the latest software experience. It also carries an IP65 certification offering protection against dust and minor water splashes. The phone has been listed in Panama and is available in two different colors: black and blue. However the company has not yet disclosed any pricing details for this model.
